Big Win Is Malfunction

That's what happened to MaryAnn and Jim McMahon, who were playing slots at the Cripple Creek casino when they had every indication that they hit for the $11 million. Wildwood Casino said that the couple's win was due to a machine malfunction. The Colorado Gaming Division came in and took possession of the machine so that it could be inspected, which later revealed that in fact, it was a malfunction that caused the win. The couple had won $1627.82 and the machine never reset itself. This is becoming more and more common as a few months before that a similar mistake was made on a slot machine but the total was for $42 million instead.
